Last night is was back to the Cate's home in town for the 2nd year in a row. It was so great last year, that when we left, Sam said to Michelle and Josh that he wanted to RSVP yes for NEXT year! SO, they held him to his word and had another party! :)
We added Emily and her dog, Sierra, into this one.
Michelle wanted to do a little surprise for both her hubby and Sam, as they both have milestone birthdays within the next week. The cake says OLDER THAN DIRT. Josh #30 and Sam #40. Sam really didn't like that for some reason?? We were hoping more people could have been there. The Barfields were supposed to be, but they ended up staying longer back in the south and won't be home for another week.

The sun is starting to set. It stays light so late here that the fireworks don't even start until 10:30!!
Kaebrie smiled, even though she didn't like the noise the neighbors were making with their small fireworks.
Sam and Josh had both picked up some small ones at a road side stand. That is Kaitlynn's shadow in both those pictures.
THis is where the kids sat for thier perfect view of the fireworks!
THen they moved outside the back fence, which is right next to the golf course where the fireworks are launched from.
After the fireworks, they got a few minutes to play with sparklers.
Then it was time to drive home. We didn't even leave The Cate's house until 11:15.
EVERYONE slept in pretty late this morning!
A fun night.
