Collin asked yesterday if he could make Kit Kat a cake all by himself. I thought it was a great idea, so he did it and did a great job!
Then he wrapped all the presents for me as well. He didn't know what he was wrapping, but it was nice to have someone liking to do what I don't like to do (wrap presents).
She got a JENGA family game, a book on how to draw 50 types of horses....
A handmade card that Collin had Tiff and Kaebrie do ( I had no idea when he did that)...

And her own set of genuine chaps!!!!!!!
It took us 3 times to get them on facing the right direction, but thanks to the expert advice of my neighbor, we finally got it! Kaitlynn went to find her boots to put them on as well, but obviously, Kaebrie found them first.

For Christmas she got a real silver belt buckle and horse hair belt. All she needs now is a western shirt, a cowboy hat, and a horse!
Dixie looks like she has something to say. :)
She got some birthday money from her grandparents, so we might go to the local western outlet and take care of the shirt and hat. The horse will have to wait awhile.
So hard to believe that this beautiful girl is already nine years old. Seems like such a short time ago, when at 4:27 on a dark Friday morning, my good friend and doctor, Elizabeth, announced,"IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!" We wanted a daughter SO BAD and we are so thankful to God for giving us our precious Kaitlynn.
