Well, we woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. I haven't been outside to measure yet, but it has got to be around 4 inches and it is still snowing!
I do like looking at it, but later, when 4 snowsuits, 7 gloves (because one WILL get lost), 4 hats, 8 boots, a mixture of scarves and long johns litter the front hallway, I won't like it so much.
We are supposed to be going to Boise tonight for the Fighter Squadron Christmas Party. It is supposed to stop snowing around lunchtime, so the roads should be nice and cleaned up by 7pm. I HOPE!
Last night, Sam was officially inducted into the Fighter Squadron World. They invited him to their "naming ceremony" and he went through the initiation and the rest of the "stuff" and they named his his new call sign, ADAM.
Why Adam you ask? Well, he is the first Chaplain to ever be named in the Boars. The commander gave him a fighter patch and said it was the first time he has ever given it to a non-pilot.
So at tonight's party, that is all they probably call him.
I kind of like it. At least they were nice! Some of the pilots have call signs that are not so nice.
I need to get busy getting this place "babysitter ready."
Have a great Saturday!
