The party gang!
One nice thing about having kids with close birthdays is you can combine the parties! Collin and Kaitlynn asked for a movie and game party, (how simple and easy is that), and God provided the gorgeous sunny and 60 degree weather, and we had a wonderful afternoon!
Their due dates were exactly the same, February 22. So they really are exactly 2 years apart! Though Collin was slow and arrived 4 days late, Kaitlynn was eager and came 2 weeks early, it is still close enough to celebrate together!
That is a lot of smoke! It actually melted Sam's lighter trying to light all the candles.
One of the girls gave Kaitlynn an adorable picture frame, so she asked for a group picture so she could put it in the frame!
A giggly bunch of wonderful 10 and 11 year old girls; Livie, AnnElise,Kaitlynn, Nettie Taylor and Josie!
The great group of 12 and 13 year old boys; Reed Lathem, Noah, Alex, Collin and Andrew.
They ate pizza and nachos, then watched a movie on the big projection screen Sam set up. Then they ate cake. Then it was outside for a large group game of hide and seek in the woods. Then they split up, with the boys eating again, then playing Risk, while the girls made movies with a video camera. All in all, I think Collin and Kaitlynn had a great day with their friends!

What a fun party! I didn't get nearly enough pics of Roy's party...I never do. Next year, we're coming to Mississippi so he can celebrate with a REAL photographer!
