trip - part 2

I finally got another chance to upload some more pictures. Here is Kaitlynn with Rusty, HaHa's horse that she LOVES to ride!

She had to wear her bicycle helmet, but she didn't care.

Here is Collin with Ginger and Jeffrey, HaHa's two dogs. They LOVE to play tug-of-war with him!

Kit Kat and Jeffrey. She thinks that is HER dog and HaHa just keeps him for her.

Wednesday, we drove 7 hours over to Savannah, leaving the little 2 with their grandparents. We have known the Bowmans for almost 10 years and Collin and Thomas have grown up together as best buddies.

The girls took a trolley tour of Savannah, a beautiful but HOT HOT place! Here is Kaitlynn outside the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist that was built in 1873.

Here is Mrs. Carol!

Everything was landscaped so beautifully!

The boys joined us at lunchtime. Here is the Savannah river in the background.

They are all pretending to be one of the hundreds of statues we saw.

The beautiful bridge! That is South Carolina on the other side.

We took a free ferry ride across the river to use the fancy bathrooms in the Westin Hotel.

Here we are on the other side looking back at River Street.

YAY! We got to see a huge container ship! We were hoping to see one.

It was HUGE!

One of the many fun shops on River Street.

Downtown Savannah. The trees were so pretty! Remember, our part of Idaho is a desert and we do,not have many trees!

On Friday, we went to a friend of the Bowmans and played in the lake.

Swimming, boating, paddle boating and a whole lot of fun!

The Tybee Island Lighthouse. For 6 dollars each we could walk up the 150 steps to the top, but it was way to hot!

Friday afternoon it was off to the beach!

Friday night, I have never seen two boys fall asleep so quickly! :-)

Thank you Brannon and Carol! WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we drove from Savannah to Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Here is Martha Lovelady, a VERY special friend of the families.

Monday we went to see the Hintons, some very good friends! Here is Crandall, Henry and Marcy!

Had to get one of HaHa with her dogs!

And so far, that is now up to date. Will add more details and more pictures later! I am late getting to my sisters house!!
