Silver City

This was the day to really go exploring, and rock hunting! A long trip through the mountains in the Land Rover to an old ghost town called Silver City was the plan! I stayed home with the little 2, and 6 hours later the rock hunting group arrived home with some incredible rocks! Kaitlynn called them gems because they were so shiny and pretty.

They all had a great time and said the long drive was worth it. My kitchen was FULL of rocks being soaked and washed off! Kay's luggage going home is sure going to be heavier then when she arrived with all those pretty "gems" inside!
