Kaitlynn took her first swim lessons over the past 2 weeks at the wonderful indoor base pool, and she LEARNED HOW TO SWIM!! They worked on teaching her floating, treading water, breaststroke, backstroke, and water safety. She REALLY enjoyed every minute of it! I have signed her up again for the next 2 weeks for another session and this time will let Collin take a class as well. He can already swim, but I would like for him to learn the techniques of all the different strokes.

They let them put on life jackets today and jump in the very deep end to get them used to swimming without touching their feet. She had NO FEAR of jumping right in!
At the end of class, her teacher told her to take off the life vest and jump into the deep water. She hesitated briefly, (as shown in this picture with her nervous smile), but she did it! Jumped in and swam accross to the ladder. YEAH KAITLYNN!
